Hey guys! I'm back! I'm sorry I wasn't able to post my review a month ago but I was in such a phase. Catching Fire was so emotional and amazing that I wasn't the same for at least three weeks!
Movie Review- One word, amazing. I'm not over exaggerating when I say it was the best movie ever. Like the BEST movie that ever existed. I had my doubts, but not anymore. My doubts are gone. Never to be seen again because Catching Fire blew them away. It was so heart touching. I loved how in this movie, they captured the image of the Capitol much better. All the advance technology and exotic decor was my ideal image of the Capitol. I went to see it with my dad once and he didn't really like the first, but he agreed that Catching Fire was ten times better. And I'm sure everyone in the world agrees to. Including the box office which made ten times more of the amount of money then The Hunger Games.
I really loved how Francis chose his cast. Honestly I was a little scared about Johanna and Finnick, but now I am quite proud. They were outstanding. Especially Jena Malone who I could tell really captured the image of Johanna Mason as the strong, brave, and independent girl she is, and lets not forget colorful. Sam Claflin did a great job as well, I was just a little dissapointed with the sugar cube scene. To most people they wouldn't think it's a big deal. Well those people haven't read the books like us, who really visualized Finnicks stuck up and seductive, but charming personality. But other than that Sam Claflin and Jena Malone, welcome to the Hunger Games trilogy, and I could never ask for anyone better to play the parts.
Not much to say about Katniss, Peeta, and Gale. They were amazing, like I said they would before. Except better than the first movie. They didn't make Peeta seem so awkward in Catching Fire. Oh and for all you people out there who think that Peetas just a waste of life and extra weight, go jump off a cliff please. Because by Peeta being hurt and having to be carried around all the time, shows how much of a sensitive and fragile person he is, which really touches my heart, and makes me fall in love with him more. Josh Hutcherson, you are my hero, and no one could ever play Peeta the way you do. I will always go by your words of wisdom, "It's better to fall hard, then to not fall at all." Well it wasn't exactly in that sentence but I rearranged them.
So my over all score for Catching Fire is an absolute 10 out of 10. Five stars! A thumbs up! Kiss on the cheek, however you want to say it, because people trust me, its the best movie you will ever seen in your lifetime.

Catching Fire Cast Review
Hey guys! My name is Aurie Melaine, but I go as Aurie Mellark. Haha! But I'm here to give my opinions on The Hunger Games! Lets just say I'm very passionate about The Hunger Games and I love it! So lets just start off the first blog with my opinions on the cast for Catching Fire!
Jennifer Lawrence- I think Jennifer really captures the image of Katniss Everdeen in a way that no other actress can manage. The way her personality off camera is so happy and funny, to immediately changing to a serious and mature sixteen year old girl. I may only be eighteen, but I have a seen a lot of movies to know that there is no other actress I know could be Katniss better than Jennifer. She has this sort of humor off camera that just builds your spirit to give you a warm good feeling inside. She is a role model to all girls everywhere.
Josh Hutcherson- The second I saw Josh in The Hunger Games my heart exploded. He was by far the best choice to choose for Peeta Mellark. He was able to capture the sensitivity of Peeta and the romance. The way Peeta takes control and is able to handle a situation with only his words. And his looks, he is the most attractive face in Hollywood. He has been in very successful movies such as, The Kids Are Alright, RV (not my favorite), and Journey 1 and 2. Josh has been in the acting business since the age of 9 and all those years have certainly paid off.
Liam Hemsworth- Liam was without a doubt the best choice for Gale Hawthorne. Liam had a way of really portraying the image of Gale and bringing him to life, straight from the book. His strength, courage, and intelligence. With all that has gone on with him off the camera, I give him snaps for staying in character and acting in a positive mood.
Sam Claflin- I will be honest here, I was a little disappointed on the decision of the casting role for Finnick Odair, but as I did some research on Sam, I was impressed with that fact that he was assigned for the role of a major character in a movie that is soon to be a huge blockbuster hit. Sam Claflin was originally assumed to be a football player but due to 2 broken ankles, he sadly gave up on football, then took up acting at the age 16. The reason why I am impressed is because many people in Catching Fire are people that have been acting for years where Sam has only been acting for about half of his life.
Jena Malone- I didn't know what to think at first of Jena. In pictures I thought, "Oh, sure I guess. I mean I guess we could have done a little better, but the trailers look good." On most pictures, Jena has been made to look sophisticated and old, which I'm not very pleased with. When I read Catching Fire and Mockingjay, I expected a young, mature, independent girl. Then I did some research and I felt even deeply concerned. Jena hasn't had enough acting experience for this type of film, and the way she acts so happy and free spirited kinda of scares me. Jennifer I understand, because shes a professional and shes won Oscars, but Jena has been assigned a role to a girl whose just so true to herself and is ruthless, but I will take Francis's word and hope for the best, so Jena I wish you the best of luck.
That's all I have for now about my opinions on the cast, so stick around for random posts. I do have premiere tickets for Catching Fire, so I will be posting about my review on the movie, and I'm praying they will be positive.
